Lizzy Smith was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in January 2012 at the age of 44. Treated at Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, she has undergone a tandem stem cell transplant and is completing her year of maintenance therapy. She is currently in remission. Lizzy is a single mom for two daughters, ages 13 and six. She enjoys yoga, hiking, power walks and travel. She remains active in the cancer world by blogging her experiences at lizzysmilez.blogspot.com.
