Amy Schmidt Zook | CureTalks
Amy Schmidt Zook is a physician trained in Emergency Medicine. When she found it difficult to start her own family, she aimed to become as informed and knowledgeable as she could to help guide herself through the difficult and consuming world of infertility. While struggling through years of treatments and diagnoses, she found that providing support to other women going through the same tough journey was fulfilling, hopeful, and helpful. She currently administrates a support group of over 1600 physician women with infertility. She has also recently started the Infertility Advocacy Alliance to promote action-based advocacy for infertility rights. Her advocacy work has led to interviews with NPR, Marie Claire magazine, Jezebel, and other media platforms.
