Dr. Michelle Schwarz | CureTalks
Dr. Michelle Shwarz is currently an epidemiologist in the pharmaceutical industry. She has a PhD in Public Health and a Master's in Psychological Services. She is both a PCOS patient and researcher. She completed her dissertation on a study to understand the current PCOS knowledge of mental health providers—specifically in psychologists and psychiatrists—and implementing a brief, on-line educational module to improve PCOS knowledge and screening and referring patients for PCOS. She is currently on the patient advisory board and co-chair of the research committee for PCOS Challenge. She is working towards gaining access to datasets to better understand the prevalence of diagnosed and undiagnosed PCOS in Medicare and Medicaid patients.
