Dr. Nimesh D. Desai, a cardiovascular surgeon is the Director of Thoracic Aortic Surgery Research Program and an Associate Professor of Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated in Biochemistry from the University of Ottawa, received his medical degree from the University of Western Ontario, and his doctorate of philosophy in clinical epidemiology from the University of Toronto. His work on cardiac and thoracic surgery has been published extensively in reputed journals.
