Dr Patrick Ha | CureTalks
Dr. Patrick Ha is a Professor and the Chief of Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (OHNS) at the University of California, San Francisco. He also holds the Irwin Mark Jacobs and Joan Klein Jacobs Distinguished Professorship in Head and Neck Surgery. In addition to his clinical and research work, he serves as the Medical Director for the UCSF Mission Bay Adult Services. He also serves on the editorial board of several journals including Head and Neck and Oral Oncology and has over 100 published journal articles. His research is currently focused on molecular changes that occur in adenoid cystic carcinoma of the salivary gland. Dr. Ha received an undergraduate degree in biology from Harvard University, graduating magna cum laude. He obtained his medical degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, graduating with membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He then completed his residency training and a postdoctoral fellowship at the otolaryngology department of Johns Hopkins, along with advanced fellowship training in head and neck oncologic surgery.
