Dr Sasha Hakman is a US board certified OBGYN with subspecialty training in reproductive endocrinology & infertility. She specializes in women's health, hormones, infertility and reproductive/pelvic surgery. She has a special interest in fitness and nutrition. She is a former varsity water polo player for the women's team at the University of Toronto and former marathoner, but made the transition into powerlifting a few years ago. As a fertility doctor but also someone who suffers from PCOS, she wants to provide resources to help women reach lifestyle goals and prevent them from falling into traps of misinformation present all over the internet; including proper nutrition, how to lose weight as well as exercise strategies- particularly when trying to conceive or if suffering from various endocrine disorders. She provides important information so help women feel confident in making appropriate lifestyle adjustments.
