Dr. Eliezer M. Van Allen | CureTalks
Eliezer M. ("Eli") Van Allen, MD, is an Associate Member at the Broad Institute, an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, and holds clinical positions at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and at Brigham and Women's Hospital, in Cambridge and Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Van Allen is an experienced researcher in the fields of computational biology and the genetics and genomics of cancer. He is also the Principal Investigator for the Metastatic Prostate Cancer Project. His research is focused on the evolution and application of clinical computational oncology to interpret patients' cancer genomes, to discover details about the response and resistance mechanisms of specific types of patients to cancer therapies, and to explore the inherited and environmental impact of the cancer genome.Dr. Van Allen hold a BS from Stanford University and an MD from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in California. He completed his fellowship in Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
