Dr. James R. Berenson is a noted multiple myeloma specialist. He is the Founder Director of the Institute for Myeloma and Bone Cancer Research (IMBCR) and specializes in research in relation to myeloma and metastatic bone disease. He has been involved in basic and clinical areas of the disease for over 20 years and is known for having brought about new treatments with better quality of life and longevity. Dr. Berenson is the member of the National Institutes of Health Center for Scientific Review, Clinical Oncology Study Section and Scientific Boards of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and International Myeloma Foundation. He is associated with many groups working on multiple myeloma and bone metastases.
