Mohinish Shukla | CureTalks

Dr. Mohinish Shukla is an Assistant Professor in the Developmental and Brain Sciences program in the Psychology department at the University of Massachusetts Boston. He received his M.S. in Biological Sciences from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, and then went on to receive a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience at the SISSA, Trieste, Italy. Dr. Shukla is primarily interested in the biological bases and development of cognitive capacities, in particular human language. He has published several peer-reviewed papers and book chapters, particularly in the field of language development, and has been invited to lecture in various labs and conferences internationally. Dr. Shukla is one of the three PIs of the UMass Boston Baby Lab (babies.umb.edu), studying infant development.
