Dr. Mona Al Mukaddam, a board-certified endocrinologist, is Director of the Penn Bone Center and an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine and Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. She specializes in metabolic bone diseases, calcium and phosphate metabolism, parathyroid disorders, and fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (FOP). Dr. Al Mukaddam is part of the Penn Bone Center, Penn Center for the Female Athlete, and Penn Endocrinology Services. Recognized in Philadelphia magazine's Top Docs (2019–2023), she earned her medical degree from the American University of Beirut, completed residency at the University of Iowa, and fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She was board certified in Endocrinology in 2012.
