A former music educator and court reporter, Pat has been a team member of The Living Legacy Project, a global network to save living history, since 2010. She now specializes in photo reminiscence therapy for people with cognitive challenges, working with families whose loved ones are in assisted living, Memory Care, or hospice. Pat developed MemoriesfromMyLife.com, a unique use of photo posters with captions to tell a mini life story. She was a caregiver for each of her parents, who had dementia — her father with FTD beginning when he was 46, and her mother with Alzheimer’s in her 80s. Pat’s blog MemoriesfromMyLife.wordpress.com has been rated one of the top 25 by Healthline since 2015.
