Paul Carpenter | CureTalks
Paul Carpenter is a patient-advocate for men diagnosed with prostate cancer. He has contributed to dozens of online groups and forums, and he co-founded a Los Angeles support group for gay and bisexual men living with prostate cancer. Diagnosed in 2007 with Gleason 9=5+4 disease, he has undergone six different treatment modalities so far: surgery; clinical trial of non-cytotoxic chemotherapy; EBRT; ADT; immunotherapy; and SBRT. He works for a software company, and in his off hours he is very active in local stage and film/video productions. He and his husband have one daughter, and recently became grandfathers.
